Volkswagen are planning a small crossover version of the ID 2, possibly called the ID 2X it will replace the current T-Cross as an all-electric crossover.
Autocar reports a potent R version with 4WD is also on the cards. It has already been confirmed that Volkswagen’s R performance brand will be electric-only by 2030 and has “several electric R models in the planning stages”.
They describe the ID2 as Polo sized and the ID2X as T-Cross sized.
