Volkswagen ID.2 pictured testing for the first time

We've seen plenty of official design teasers from Volkswagen over the last couple of years but this is the first time the Volkswagen ID.2 has actually been pictured on the road. It will be hard to make out as its wearing an ID.3 body to disguise its underpinnings.

We know a fair bit about this model already:
It will run on a new ‘MEB Entry’ architecture.

will be VW's first electric car to have a GTI badge
